Learn how to take care of your body, and what you can do to support your body in this physically stressful career

  • Registration 9:30am – 9:45am
  • AGM – 9:45 am to 10:15 am
  • Presentations/Workshops – 10:20am -2pm (3.5 CPD


Join us for a wellness day with presentations and workshops from various health professionals. After presentations from each of the practitioners, each practitioner will have a small station set up for discussions, scans, specific movements and tips.

  1. Go to login icon (on the top right corner) or click Member Login at the bottom page if you scroll down the screen page).
  2. Login with your Email name and password (the one when you used to join in as DHAA member) to the Members Only section.
  3. Go to My Details for your personal details.
  4. Click icon with pencil picture to edit any of your details (all changes are saved as how it appears on the screen)
  5. Once you double checked every detail is correct, click on any 4 top content page to exit My Details page.


The Membership Officer and President of DHAA WA Branch are the only two authorised people to access to WA’s members database.

Elite Periodontal and Implant Centre Pty Ltd – Specialist Periodontal clinic requires an experienced hygienist to initially cover maternity leave 2 days per week Thursdays and Fridays for three months and to continue on with us on alternate days after our regular hygienist returns.

We are opening a new branch location in 2015 and between the two practices we will have enough work for at least 3 – 4 days.

First Aid Course

Due to issues with NAB we have been unable to activate our online payment option for the First Aid Course. However you can still pay via credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or direct debit.

FIRST AID TRAINING – Limited seats!

Course DHAA WA Branch Member Non-Member
Part 1 only (CPR) $50 $60
Part 1 & 2 (basic first aid) $90 $100

**You must have completed Part 1 to do part 2
***NB: 2nd course session may be run dependant on registrant numbers


Upon successful completion of the training, participants will obtain a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment and SLSWA Basic First Aid Certificate in the following units of competence:

  • HLTCPR201A Perform CPR

(PART 1 – Saturday 26th of February) 3 CPD points

  • HLTFA201A Provide Basic Emergency Life Support

(PART 2 – Saturday 5th of March) 3 CPD Points

Full Course
This basic first aid course teaches participants how to provide basic First Aid in an emergency situation. Upon completion, participants will hold a First Aid certificate that’s valid for three years – however, it is recommended that CPR training is renewed annually. The course is delivered under the Australian Quality Training framework and is nationally recognised.

**NB this is hosted by the Dental Hygiene Association – Not the Dental Therapy and Hygiene association please check your membership status before registering.

Job Description: Editor


  • The WA branch newsletter “Hygiene Happenings” is to be published three times a year initially. (April, Aug, Dec)
  • The editor is required to collect data from members and the committee.
  • Once the data has been collected the editor will forward the material onto the printers
  • A draft copy will come back and the editor is required to proof read and confirm printing.
  • The editor will then arrange the newsletters to be sent out to the members.
  • The editor will be responsible for the employment section which will require them to liaise with the employment officer and employers to place their add.
